I defend the modders and community this site promotes; and if I feel someone is taking a stab, I will defend them. Re how old the site is, I think you'll find members dating back to 2006.... The mods have been out for the last six months (in the mainstream), and a lot of us have been here since then. And you're right, being new you will only just be scraping the tip of the iceburg with what details this site holds... What you wont be aware of is of some of the earlier confrontations that occured here. That is why, you will notice, people jumping in rather quickly to defend certain things.
Nothing here is released without being fully researched and without a hell of alot of work and checking going into them. You will not find shoddy "official" downloads... Regarding looking for those who have been in the mainstream, my advice (and not being rude here) - you need to widen your range... There is talent here from places you wouldnt believe.
Accurate FM's... the new aircraft, with their own slots have been researched to incredible depth, reviewd, checked, tested, reviewed again, and released... This site will maintain the upmost degree of accuracy...
