i don't pretend to know a lot about how these work, but i know your system is not too far off from mine as i also have an 8800 (albeit and early gen 640meg version) and the ones i use right now that work very well are a set i found from march 13th that include an edit to the il2 config file to set it to run better on newer gen nvidia cards such as the 8800 line (i can play it with DCG with massed bombers on at 1680x1050 all options cranked as high as i can get them running at 8x speed with no noticeable drop in performance). i don't know how to do that fancy speedyshare upload stuff, and don't remember where i got them and hate rapidshare but i could email it to you if you wish and anyone else who'd like them
