Yes indeed mate, I haven't forgotten.

I'm an Aussie too and both my grandfathers and a grand uncle were at Gallipoli. I was named after the grand uncle who was killed on the western front later that year (1915) So I'm not likely to forget.

I simply felt that being an international place, the majority of people reading the boards wouldn't get the poems relevance to the thread.

In hindsight I should maybe have added that it might be better to post something up in the announcements forum.

Come to think of it a general thread for Remembrance could be both interesting and educational
