I say wait. Keep the mods on low key now. Let people choose.
When you find/make a 3d converter, then the fun will begin.
AAA agreed on no current FM to the aircraft. But the loophole is you can remake all the aircraft (more detailed 3d models
) and give them a correct FM, DM and loadout, and still be following the rules. They are new aircraft.... 
Then a full size mod pack can be released.
