ADF already works in AC that have radio compass. In coop or single player (any map with waypoints marked).

You have to fly to each WP before it will switch to the next , ( a mod to advance WP beacon when you give "Next waypoint" command would be cool.)

This is a sort of a cheat because it's unlikely that there is a beacon over each waypoint (especially in enemy territory !! )

You can simulate a single beacon located at your home base by putting only a waypoint in your mission (adfter takeoff), just where the home base is. In this way the indicator should always point towards your home base.

I don't think that full use of ADF can be implemented by any mod, probably the IL-2 engine does not fully manage navaids with their location, frequency, etc....
