High res oil splatter

Was thinking of the "'.txl" file where you can add animated skins-

and substitute in .mat - eg:-

Quote:[Layer0]
TextureName animation.txl // oldskin.tga
PaletteName
Frame 0.0

then the skins go in txl file -

Quote:[ClassInfo]
ClassName TAnimatedTextureList

[General]
nFrames 13
Time 0.3
Loop 1

[QualityLow]
FPS 18
ImageScale 0.5

[QualityHigh]
FPS 24
ImageScale 1.0

[Images]
oil1.tga
oil2.tga
oil3.tga



[Generator]

A solid black texture and progressively morphed alpha channel ought to do the trick.
(Or does it come from the damage model? Cry )

+100 for new oil skin regardless.
