One question though, how do you get the floats to retract and extend?

for splash screen ..... copy any background.tga and background.mat ( from missions folders...) ...rename them as background0.tga / background0.mat .... mod structure: game root\MODS"whatever you like"\gui

example: game root\MODS\splash screen\gui\background0.tga
