First of all, M8, we know that you think very highly of yourself and of your images. You've told us just how good you are:
"Won a TrackIR4 for this. We have to take a image, and edit it to make it a composite. aircraft or ground."
"I also have a good ability for making good screenshots, and got alot of good praises at SSA for that too."
"If any map/mod makers need a picture (composites take a bit of time) or a well compiled screenshot with editing. Feel free to PM with anything you need. I like seeing my work being used by people."
In my experience, people who are REALLY good at what they do have no need to tell people how good they are. Their work speaks for itself.
Secondly, I have absolutely no desire to make images that look like yours in any way. I wouldn't normally say this, but since you posted an image as an example to aspire to, I don't care for that image at all. In fact, I don't care for most of your images.
As regards "a lot of good praises at SSA", that doesn't say much to me mate. All it means it that you adopted the SSA way of making images and so you got strokes for that. The problem is that everyone who adopts that school makes images which, in general appearance, look very much like all of the other images from that school, just as the one you've posted does. They tend to lack originality just as this one does.
Lastly, I think it pathetic that you felt that you had to post an image with a "lighting tutorial" in this thread because you obviously couldn't stand that fact that people were praising the lighting in my image. That doesn't show me that you're good, that simply shows me that you want people to think that you are better. It's shows a lack of maturity and a lack of real self-confidence.
I don't do lighting the way that you and the "SSA school" do it simply because I don't care much for it. If you like it, that's fine but I don't see it as better. I have my own way of doing things whether you think it's good or not.
SSA is gone. Get over it. If you want more of that kind of thing, more "good praises" and more "TrackIR4's" to add to your collection, then why don't you go to SSW which, more or less, picked up where SSA left off.
I might also add that I see you as exceptionally arrogant. I haven't seen anyone posting in this forum, except you, start out by announcing to everyone how good they are and presenting their resume, including prizes won. People here post their work and let that do the talking for them. The fact is that I don't care where you've been before, what praises you've gotten in the past or what prizes you've won and I doubt that many others do either.
Cheers, M8!
