You may want to drop your screen resolution, maybe to 1024 x 768. The main limitation with screen capture software like Fraps (or anything similar) is the speed of your hard drive: capturing larger resolution screens requires a speedy hard drive, otherwise you'll get dropped frames as the software can't write the images to the hard drive fast enough.
Another trick is to record your tracks at half or quarter speed using the time acceleration keys in IL2, then speed up the recording x2 or x4 in whatever movie software you're using.
These are the two main things I can think of. The first one should help with dropped frames, and the second should reduce any in game stutters.
I'm no expert on the other config settings so maybe someone more knowledgeable can help out?
