Altimeter Gage on Panel working to service ceiling
#1

The P-38 & P-51 have altimeter gages that work up to its service ceiling. All other US Planes have the altimeter lock up at 30,000 feet. This isn't a problem if the speed bar is enabled, but many servers have the speed bar disabled. The P-47 attained its top speed at 30,000 feet and flew above this altitude regularly and it is disappointing that the altimeter quits working like it does. In the Solomon Islands it was common practice for Corsair Squadrons to cruise above 20,000 feet to the target and put one of its flights up at 33,000 feet as high cover just in case the JNAF or JAAF positioned their aircraft at higher altitudes.

Does anyone know how to make it so these altimeters do not lock at 30,000 feet?

Thanks
