I fully agree with you, and certainly would not advocate any kind of mod like that for this game. It would be nice though, to see some sort of evidence of damage as a result of some serious strafing attacks by fighters. I believe that there is such a mod available right now, but it conflicts with the Ship Pack mod. I really like the smoke effects that FC has created for this next Ship Pack.
