Okay, just tried it and I'm getting closer now... 
I now get an error message of "Wrong Target Selected" even though I've selected "None" for my target but the GUI is now as it should be, which is good! Does this mean I did something weird for my mission file? I wasn't sure exactly how I should create one so I just had 4 flights of 4 planes for each side fly towards each other. Again, thanks for your help with this.
