I am glad you are tackling this since it is the campaignmakers that breath life into the maps and planes!
DCG is a very good tool for this! all power to you.

I would say start with Europe (esp. BoB just IMO, feel free to use my template for the Chanel beta if you like it )
then MTO (LOTS of great new maps), then PTO....

I have made some good progress in the Pacific, but have not started the Slot yet.

I actually am doing Europe. I am working on the Channel map right now ... I have all the roads, rail and sea routes done, now I need to populate the map with static objects. I think I am also going to redo the armor columns ... once I get that done it is on to the next map.
