Fabian, I think as this whole thing progresses and as you say, conflicts are starting to arise, many people feel it is beyond them to mess with the various files, or rather they don't have the confidence to alter various files and they are detered or put off..
It can be daunting for newer users.. But I'm sure in time as things progress, an easier, and more common or universal way to introduce mods will evolve, with less 'messing' from the common user to worry about..
I do feel sometimes when I have just got things running ok, then introduce a newer mod, and it then goes pear shaped, I do get frustrated as hell..
