You can set the Cyborg EVO to have the first Joystick ID in Windows to simplify the control situation.

Also, I use the Cyborg Evo FF myself, and:
1. The stick does tighten to represent control surface resistance, but not to the extent I would like
and
2. I find that the gun effects in particular can actually be a bit excessive (shaking the stick violently and putting my aim off at times!). I may need to tweak the FF settings a bit for those forces...
