Now the big question is... If this true how the hell did I get different FF profiles in my copy of IL2 than say yours, KC JONES??? I have never touched my FF folder till I got my FF EVO stick.
So to summerize. I think the problem may not be with the stick but with the FF profiles in IL2.

Dang,....thought that FF switch would work. Some times I have bad days and my monitor shows black until son says "Dad, turn the power switch on".
Okay,...after 3 smokes in a row on the back porch I also tried a number of things, including not loading an SST profile I have for IL-2. I still got FFB in the game.
BUT ! I never even knew that there was a folder inside the game called "Force Feedback".
Goes to show how much I know.
I do know that I never messed with that hardware input setup screen in the game except to turn on force feedback.
Never messed with any of those "curves" things either. Didn't and still don't know what the heck they're for.
So I go back to one of your first anomolies:
"My Throttle Quad is still being seen as the primary controller by IL2."
If this is still showing up, then....that is the first thing you must tackle.
A friend of mine had a heck of time combining a CH stick and throttle quadrant in CFS. He posted his problem on their forum and got back a "what to do".
Just went up to Saitek's forum and found this.

You might want to add to that thread.
Sorry I couldn't be more help buddy.
