I'm using 4.08 but I guess it would do for 4.09 also.
1. Create a folder in your Mods folder. Actually it doesn't matter how you call it
2. Unzip QMBMinus into that folder.
3. Add [quick] section to your conf.ini and list the maps of your choice.
4. Start the game and look at the quick mission editor's screen. If some labels misspelled then you have to correct them in the i18n/gui_ru.properties (quick.* entries).
5. Press FMB button and create some quick mission templates. The rule is simple - there have to be 4 flights of 4 planes for each side (it doesn't matter of what type). Save these templates into the Missions/quick folder. Naming rule of the templates is pretty straightforward - [Map][Side][Mission]00.mis. So, for my Crimea map I had to make these misions:
CrimeaRedNone00.mis
CrimeaRedAirbase00.mis
CrimeaRedArmor00.mis
CrimeaRedBridge00.mis
CrimeaRedScramble00.mis
CrimeaRedStrike00.mis
And the same for the blue side. That's it!
