Th!rdeye, great addition you made. And since you are at it... could you look if you could improve the hit airplanes smoke/vapour/fire trails?
It would be nice if they were animated... I know they look like they are but, more than that.
Examples:
When plane is hit in radiator and the white smoke apears first second it will be cool if a large cloud of white smoke will be released, simulating the glicol exploding out of the radiator and instantly vapourising... then after the first second the effect should return to normal white trail.
When plane is on fire... the fire is just one single trail of blazes... but it should be more complicated and variated. Like first is a single smoke and fire trail but after a while a new one appears just near the original... then another one.
Also the fire effect should be more animated... blazes of fire and black smoke should alternate in gulps simulating an inferno in development. Size should also vary from time to time.
I am thinking that this could be done with the current "il-2 engine" as we have the fire from exhaust pipes from Slipry.
