Good stuff Oblongo. There were probably several more fields not placed on the map. Maybe they were insignificant to the Thai-French conflict that FF had this map originally intended for. Remember, the Burma area was added later which IMO was a great idea because of the air raids you mentioned above.
I see FF added the seaplane base at Moulmein. Great JOb! I think it's good to suggest things that could be included. One person working alone can easily overlook something. I applaud FF for being open to suggestions and having a WIP map to add things before a final version.
FabianFred, I have not download the latest map files yet but I did notice one weird thing at the airfield at Moulmein. Maybe it's fixed on the newest map but .... when placing planes on the airfield facing south, when engines are revving up, they slowly turn to the southeast and takeoff onto the grassy area and occasionally crash into the hangar. Maybe something is not aligned properly?? Maybe it's fixed now?? I don't know.
