IMPORTANT INFO, AIRSTRIP DIMENSION OF MOST AIRFIELDS (For Rangoon Battle).
MAP 1: http://www.warbirdforum.com/jdamapjan22.jpg
Ok, found in the same site these maps. It shows the locations of bases...and their airstrip size!
For example, Moulmein was a 1000x300 field. (Meters as showing the ilustration)
MAP 2: http://www.warbirdforum.com/jaafmapf.htm
This one is interesting because it shows the satellite bases of Mingaladon. "Mingaladon of course is the main Rangoon airfield. Hmawbi is the RAF dispersal field known to the Allied pilots as Highland Queen. Hlegu was known as Zayatkwin to the RAF and was the base for its Bristol Blenheim bombers. " Note the Mae-Sot airfield.
MAP 3: http://www.warbirdforum.com/jaafmapm.htm
Third map showing the Moulmein field! (1000x300), that proves that the (numberxnumber) are the actual base size! (useful info )
Keep up the good work Fabian .
