I agree that is not easy, by any means. As you say though, after you do it a few times it will become a familiar process.
A couple suggestions to help you get started:
1-try some campaigns that have sef-installers. For example, one of the best I have ever seen is Chris_Blair's White Sun Blue Sky. And it has an installer. You can find it at http://mission4today.com/index.php?name ... ls&id=2166
2-I am working on a campaing for the Slot map that will have instructions for install the campaign and skins. i would love to have someone beta test the instructions. Let me know if you have the time or inclination.
