The AAA/Ack-Ack guns can be seen from as far away as seven kilometers depending on your PC and settings. But the Flak guns emit only the faintest puff of smoke and are hard to see no matter what, even at 100 meters.
I always hated this, as the Flak is what you have to suppress after you suppress the AAA. AAA is more murderous so it has to go first when attacking an airfield or similar positions. But Flak has to be seen and one needs to kill it too so then he/she can destroy the rest of the targets at leisure thereafter. As it is now it's hard to find it, very hard.
I was wondering if the Flak guns could be made to put out a muzzle flash in addition to the feeble puff of smoke???? I think it's a great idea.
