actually you stumble across the info in basically any in-depth book of the 262.
I have the 4 volume smih&creek "bible" which deals with the EZ42 in a seperate chapter. In volume two, page 347 there are drawings and pictures. It was not common equipment of course but built into several batches like field testing.
A lot of the JV44 planes seemed to have it but a lot of pilots where too much used to the old style and used only the fiexed mode due to the flaws it had. So it is reported.
