I have read the entire thread and still cannot figure out why the map does not show up in the FMB.

My main installation folder is D:\Program Files\Ubisoft\IL-2 Sturmovik 1946

Inside that I have
D:\Program Files\Ubisoft\IL-2 Sturmovik 1946\MODS\MAPMODS\maps
with a folder
D:\Program Files\Ubisoft\IL-2 Sturmovik 1946\MODS\MAPMODS\maps\vol_ItalyAfricaGreece
and a file
D:\Program Files\Ubisoft\IL-2 Sturmovik 1946\MODS\MAPMODS\maps\all.ini

Here are two screenshots of some folders and files. I notice there is a semicolon in one text file - can it be causing problems?

At the end of conf.ini in D:\Program Files\Ubisoft\IL-2 Sturmovik 1946\ folder i have added the line
Custom0=vol_ItalyAfricaGreece

Everything is the same it seems except that my harddrive is D:

During install the map exe said it removed 0 paths. Is that right? Please help!

I am also using Il2 version 4.08M and this is what my FMB map list looks like

An application trivial:
uses the game after activating the Sound_Mod_9X ???????.
You have enabled the link as indicated (The link is inoperative) the Sound_Mod?
We seem trivial but it is important to know that.
