I wanted to try to simulate smoke puffs from the wings on the allied aircraft. This is my first attempt. I was able to convert the spent gunshells into smoke. I don't mind giving up the shells, I like the smoke much better
Not all aircraft in the game have the ejected shell action, so this mod only adds smoke to airplanes that do. I experimented with different shades of grey and opacities and have settled on this right now. I'm not sure what affect it will have on frame rate on all systems, but it doesn't bog my system down much; I have the smoke set to end after a few seconds after the guns are fired. I've got an older P4 3GHZ system and everything seems to run fine. The effect is not perfect, but I like it much better than nothing!
** Note this mod does not edit any of the weapon files, the smoke effects are cosmetic only.
