Right, so to clarify, there would be very little, if any changes, to make the model a M, only FM work...?

There would be some minor exterior changes which I have highlighted in red.

I believe the fin was added in the field when the M's reached the ETO. When the bomb pylons were added I don't know. I have included the Curtis paddle prop as opposed to the Hamilton prop. Those more enlighted may be able to help with those details.
