I comeback from holiday . I have for you next ver. 5 in first page DOWNLOAD. This ver. solution any fix especially loading texture of BlackClouds in other objects.(Objects as smoke from shipgun,smoke from wheels_takeoff,smoke from explode bombs, crash aircraft..etc now loading old orig texture "SmokeA.tga") ,and next edits. go to first page for download pls.
Thx all for yours interes,opinions. Your downloads my mod "Buffy flaks" is over 500x in v4.That is rapidly increase.

YES . go to: MODS\Buffy Flaks\effects\Explodes\Air\Zenitka\USSR_85mm\Smoke Boiling.eff open file in notepad.exe find line
"Wind 0.0" and set Wind 1.0
my opinion: I not set to on, because effect you best see only through static camera.In fly not see differences.I preffer keep FPS in my MODFlak therefore I"off" little things.
But All flakclouds have set climb up.If you need quickly move up clouds increas value in line
VertAccel 0.1 so 0.2-0.5
You need edit two files "Smoke Boiling.eff" and edit value in line"LiveTime" (it is time to remain visible Black,Whiteclouds in air, in seconds)

open in notepad:
\Buffy Flaks\effects\Explodes\Air\Zenitka\USSR_85mm\Smoke Boiling.eff
SmallFlak (whiteclouds)
\MODS\Buffy Flaks\effects\Explodes\Air\Zenitka\USSR_25mm\Smoke Boiling.eff
In last ver.5 is settings Live time =BlackClouds 50s WhiteClouds =15s
Short time is best for FPS if you fly over hard armored ships. Thats solution for no strong Hardware PC configuration.

love this mod - but I was wondering if there is a way to shorten the time length the cloud bursts stay visible for? It just seems that the black or white puffs hang in the air for a little too long, just my humble opinion at least
