Go go go for early P38s.
Because of the similar performance of the P38 F/G, and the fact that we are all aware of the FM fudge factor in Il-2 to enhance aircraft performance parity (up to a point at least) anyway, why not just create a slot called P38 F/G and go from there?
One obvious loadout option would be the 23mm nose cannon as opposed to the 20mm.
Etc etc for all you guys who know more or are willing to delve immediately deeper into research.
Point being if these are built people will fly them.
These were arguably more important models for their impact than the J, L anyway - production numbers notwithstanding. See Bong and McGuire etc...
