Thank you for your answer. Destroing your objects is not an option as they are to beautiful .
Nevertheless I did some testing by subsequently deleting the object folders. The objects causing my problem are the objects in the flora folder.
The fps drop or gfx distortion only appear at a certain view distance. I can also observe this fps drop in FMB when looking straight down and zooming in onto the ground.
So my quite uneducated guess is that there is something bugged with the grafics of your palms for a special distance. When I use 16bit texture compression the gfx distortion does not occur but the fps drop remains.
Perhaps you can have a look into this.

Is it possible for me to quickly fix the actors static file in order to be able to edit and save the map in FMB by editing the non binary part of the file?
