hi Maven, thanks for replying. No , not at all! I think the smoke is way more realistic than than muzzleflash in smaller calibre weapons. From most war eara footage I remember smoke from puffs from the muzzles, and flash from cannons.

I have seen some clips from P-51's that seen to show some flash from the fifties, but it seems to be more transparent and extends farther away from the wing than what's in the sim. I was thinking about re-making some new muzzle flash graphics, but I might work on the smoke instead. I see what you are saying about the cannons.
