Isnt a coolie hat 8 digital positions not analog or optical so its seems impossible to me. Thats why I acquired a X-52 throttle so I could use the analog mouse stick for viewing. The coolie hat does work not well for me. They should have an analog position free coolie hat on every JS IMO.

So the issue is having freedom on a hat without freedom. Good question though as Ide be interested.
