Hi Fabianfred,
first I was convinced that it were the palm objects which caused my problems with the map, because when I did not load them I did not have problems with the missions you designed for your map.
I think it is great that you did not "only" design the map, but also supplied the community with very hig detailed missions.
After further exoperimenting with different drivers, dlls (core + mgsound), I finally got rid of the r4 rocket glitch, but suddenly recall crashed even without palms. But I was able to make a long distance flight with palms with a single airplane across the map.
I was wrong. The flora objects are OK. My latest conclusion is that it is a problem with the amount of memory which is used by the map and the memorxy of the objects which are used by the great scenery you set up in your missions.
In order to run them without problems I had to delete some flights, campfires and smoke objects.
After having a close look at the missions and having read about your "infamous" Pearl Habour mission I now better understand your modding approach. But it is a pity that in the moment my system cannot cope with it.
At least I can use your map with less detailed mission setups.
I am now curious what your hardware setup is like and what combination of dlls, conf.ini settings etc. you are using.
regards Mc Mart
