Thanks for the input . I wish I would have run across this information a few montlhs ago.

The defrag seems fine, but it doesn't appear that it does a "boot" defrag scenario though.

That Windows Personal Care looks good, but a few months ago I purchased for $20 bucks, Tuneup utilities 2008, which does the same thing... free would have been better though...lol..

Just cleaning up those loose ends in the regestry seem to help unclog the works nicely...That, along with the "boot up" defrag really speeded up my loading times in everything.

There has got to be a freeware defrag out there somewhere that also will do a "boot" defrag which can only be done within the boot sequence when restarting the computer.

The first time I ran that program on deskeeper I was actually amazed how fast my computer booted up. I guess the start sequence was really in bad shape...

Every little bit helps I guess...
