My modding activity has been limited for a while due to job responsibilities. So I have not accomplished what I wanted. But I thought I would show you what I am shooting for. This is the slip ball I am trying to animate on the D27 Mk8 sight. At the moment it doesn't do anything. But if I can figure out this Java BS, it will look something like this. I also am experimenting with hooding and lens textures.





If I can get this to work, it would open the possibility of additional working gauges, sliding canopies and the like. I just need the time and inspiration.

Dude, have you figured out how to change the texture of the glass on the gunsigh? I wanna make it look glassy

and if someone knows how to add more colour to the reticle, instead of that brown, (just as on the other reticle mods) I'd love to play with the analog look, bit blurry, and edges with another colour (in this case green): http://www.a-26legacy.org/images/gunsight.JPG
