Well if it where enforced for all pilots that they need to refuel,rearm and repair their planes before next flight and not use refly it might give vulchers some real candy moments :lol:

But if you've got some serious damage i don't think people are gonna wait for 15min on the runway for refuel,rearm and repair.
Usually in the real world it could take hours to get it air again, bit too formula one if it's done in a few minutes for me.

Some like it ,some don't so it's nothing new in mods.
An then there's people that play Silent Hunter3/4 in real time hock:
Offline or Online it could bring something new to IL2 for some.

Yes I agree, its all about having options, some guys can fly 4hr missions off-line without ever hitting fast forward, some can't. Once you have the option you can decide how long you decide wait. I just flew a mission on the Channel map and ran out of ammo, and landed at Hawkinge during a lull in the battle. As I was taxing in a threesome of 110's showed up and I taxi'd inside a hanger for cover. I would have loved to be able to rearm and chase the buggers home. I know in the Battle of Britain aircraft were rearmed in minutes. You can argue about how long it was or how long you should wait, but in the end this is a game and its all about individual game play.

In other sims were there is an option to rearm, or refly in the same mission, I got huge satisfaction from getting my damaged aircraft back to base in one peice and taking off again killing the guy that had to follow back to base to finish the kill. The beauty of CFS2 was you stayed in the same aircraft so the guy who followed you back knew exactly where you are because you didn't hit refly and magically reappear on a different part of the base. He could get you landing, taxiing,and taking off, if he wanted to risk the AAA. You could use alittle imagination and park your aircraft beside another and pretend you jumped into that prepared aircraft.

Its possible to takeoff in a new aircraft on-line in the same mission. I suppose you would have to set up some sort of server situation to do it off-line. Then again I guess thats the whole problem with 409bm and no server updates for the new maps, Slovakia etc
