BB, don't worry about overwriting...
alternatively you can place the chiefs.ini in
il2root/mods/com/maddox/il2/objects/
Not sure maybe you allready have some mod installed, wihich placed already a cheif.ini in your mods or files folder? Do first a search, maybe you already have a cheif.ini somehwere in the mods folder or fles folder? If you already have a cheifs.ini just make sure everything you do you keep only ONE chiefs.ini in your game.
