Falco, i didn't mean to be rude, and i'd be glad for you to have fun with offline game. I assure you that i have played it offline quite a bit since demo (and continue to do so), i even betatested it for some time. What i meant is that even if some of your oservations of known problems are true, your expected solution (reverting to 3.04AI) will not give the desired result.

Reducing AI level from ace/veteran to medium/rookie will help much more. It is not a competition and your ego has not to suffer from reducing AI ability, i do this too much when creating missions (putting veteran/ace in very parcimonious numbers).
