Actual size of the "Dackelbauch" was 1050 litres. 
And yes, it was in use during the BoB although in very limited numbers.
Also I must admit to a mistake on the 3D part. The tail assembly was lengthened to allow storage for a dinghy and other material. Some D/E models have this and some do not tho it seems the D-0/B was a model that had the lengthened fuselage. The intake on the engine was also slightly modified tho not a huge external difference.
