Whatever.. if firing through the airframe to hit you squarely between the eyes is realistic, then lets just leave it as it is eh.....
It seems everyone is fixated on the idea that people are calling for a mod to the AI that will make it piss easy to shoot bombers down.. which is far from what is being asked for here in this thread!
There is a whole host of AI problems that need attension, not just the rear gunner..
AI's ability to home in on you through thick cloud is another 'unrealistic' tendency that needs looking at.. again, for real, you will read pilots accounts of using cloud cover to evade another aircraft.. but lets squash that idea too because it's not a problem is it :roll:
No one has asked for any cheats here, but with some of the posts that are cropping up its a wonder this site actualy got off the ground to produce some of the fantastic mods that we now have!
This thread will only ever be a possible wishlist as modding AI routines is probably outside the scope of modding capabilities at the moment.. but it's strange that some of the recognised AI problems are being addressed by Oleg and crew for the upcoming SoW.. But oh!.. bugger me.. that will be so unrealistic right?? :wink:
