Well... I can't guarantee wednesday nights at all; but I can be very regular on saturday nights, as this event now has gone to a more U.S. friendly time of day...
I've got the hosting power, proven lag free with 24 players, so I don't see 30-40 being a major problem at all...
I've got a TS to use in case of a contingency with other teamspeaks (as we've seen in the past...)
And I'm currently building a practice map for this very purpose. Actually 2, but that's beside the point.
What needs doing:
A list of items that are vital to be a proficient bomberpilot, which each participant can fill out and send to us, so we don't spend time on practicing something that everyone is very good at, and focus more on the weaker points.
I can give an example of what I'd write here:
High level bombing (at more than 4000m): Proficient, I have demonstrated hits broadside on a battleship from 27.000' on multiple occasions.
Low level bombing (less than 4000m): proficient and will hit the target most of the time, but not practiced much
Aerial gunnery from gunner positions: Acceptable, but could improve
Bombsight setup: I am comfortable with both the automatic bombsights and the manual drop bombsights.
Formation Flying: Fly mostly as leader and acceptable in full switch (full difficulty) navigation, Proficient on left wing, proficient on slot position, acceptable on right wing but could improve.
Now, if we had a form like that for each participant to fill out, we'd know before each time what we'll need to practice, as the skill level on the various pilots may vary. If one night there are very good pilots only, we would work on their weak points, if there were a few newer bomber pilots in the mix, the "better" pilots don't mind sharing their wisdom and teaching the newcomers... but that's just an idea anyway...
