Just a little correction: I suggest you correct the name of one of the Kuriles islands to "Kunashiri" instead of Kurashini.
Habomai, Shikotan, Etorofu, Kunashiri are part of what Japan claims to be Japanese territory which Russia should give back. Until this "problem of the Northern Territories" is solved, there will still be no peace treaty signed between Japan and Russia. Because these 4 islands were seized by the Soviet Union in 1945, Japan is still technically at war with Russia in 2008...
