I know (and I'm sure everyone else here does too, not trying to insult anyone's intelligence) that if you're too fast on a landing and tap the brakes you can nose it over (in other tail draggers, haven't DLed this yet).

I'm not a modeler though, but it seems as though the desired reaction is there. The question is, can you get the 262 going fast enough on IL2's short runways?

Yes, I have taken off and landed it quite well.

take a look at ur side picture compared to the real life photo. IMHO the gears need to be raised up only just a little bit. Perhaps -0.3 this would give a bit better ability to taxi and wouldent nose over as easy.

Well... -0.3 in front gear would make it nose over more.
