There was, a P-51B/C, but that in itself wasn't unique either really. Numerous fighter groups modified old war-weary fighters to two seaters, have numerous books with pics to show this but lack a scanner and time atm to look for pics online. and i don't think that the plane actually successfully completed its mission, either it had to turn back or its escort did, can't remember off the top of my head. i'll try and find info later. and also i don't think it was that heavily escorted because while extremely important it would have called much attention to the plane and while it would have been well defended with a large escort from enemy fighters, it would not have probably been a great target for AA batteries that escorts really can't do much for.
