In real life? The Slingsby Firefly, the same airframe as the one the USAF grounded but with less power. A truly awful aeroplane. Nothing worked the way you thought it should, plus it's cold, draughty, and inherently spiteful. You had to be extremely careful how you secured the canopy too, because the one at Thruxton opened in flight once though thankfully only one head injury was sustained and the aircraft made a succesful emergency landing. As for me, it jammed the brakes on when I was manoevering to line up with the runway. I had to ask another plane in the circuit to go around and push the thing off the brake by hand before I could taxi clear. I never booked that aeroplane out again.
