In a few years time, we may well be able to forget about Windows altogether 
. A new open-source OS is being developed, ReactOS, which will be 100% compatible with W2000, XP and 2003. At the moment it is still alpha and buggy as hell so NOT suitable for everyday use, but it definitely deserves watching closely.
Just think...... an OS without compulsory activation, the ability to run all Windows applications/drivers etc, which works like W2000 and best of all is a free download!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
