Thanks choctaw111 i also like your sound very much.
And i have found the same problems that Ghost had.
Look i changed the .prs just yesterday into this:

[sample.MG_Browning50.wav] ----> should be cockpit int

period 0.034 ----> ... this one from the original 0.074 and the sounds played a little better.
i had also to change env 0 to env 0 2 to the external parameter because i cannot ear it at all ...
P.S.
I had to do apply those changes to bth the .50 cal and .303 cal guns prest files because their behaviour was the same as u said ghost.
Just tested theese on p-39 guns ... i dont know any issue on the spitfires cannons, sorry.
