There is no big difference between the 1942 BMW 801 and the early 1943 engine.

First of all the frame of the plane was modified. The nose went 300mm to the front. For the first time the FW190 got cooling flaps for the cooling slots. The radio hatch moved a little bit to the top. The medi kit went to the opposite site.
There where a lot of upgrades in the cockpit. The industry produced new modern instruments.
In our game most 3D stuff is done. We are planing to make a new cowling (like in the A-3). There will be 3D modeled cooling flaps. The cockpit will stay like it is now. Only some little modifications.
Most modifications will be in the FM and in the weapon configuration. The MG FF will get 90 rounds instead of 55 in olegs plane. The early A-5 has no boost button. The late version will have a boost button for "Erh
