I have a profile of that spit on my wall it grey letters not white on that spit grey looks better & real colors of battle of britain.Did thay use grey letters at battle of britain or both grey & white on spits. :?:

'Sky'was the typical colour used for squadron code markings but Medium Sea Grey, White were also used. Squadrons would have also used custom mixes during front line service so codes are always open to interpretation.
