Right, just tried to capture some footage with Fraps, and (I use VSync on),the top left corner shows rock solid 60-fps. Great 
Now I hit record (honestly I've been doing this a while!), suddenly the fps drops to 4fps and the game is a slideshow. 1/4 or 1/2 speed makes no difference?
I had until recently got a pair of 8800GTS in SLi mode, with 4GB of Ram.
Just upgraded to a 4870x2 with 8GB of Corsair XMS Ram.
Now I can't capture with fraps.
I'm using catalyst 8.11 driver.
Anyone had this problem before? Cheers, MP.
