ok, well i shall spill the beans i am working on a new slot avenger with the help of some other modders, it will be a TBM (Built by general moters) with correct loudouts (droptanks-and other goodies) fm will be correct (90% done already) it will also hopefully have a better more fitting cockpit ( a F6F-3, with a differnt gunsight) hope this little tidbit of infomation shall tide you over till we get further with the project. At the moment there is some snaggs with the cockpit, but i shall keep you updated. No estimated release date yet, hopefully before christmas.

This is great news Howlin_Mad!! Can't wait to fly it. About the cockpit, wouldn't the F2A-2 be better? The canopy opens, and from the inside it seems more like what a turkey's cockpit would look like from the inside than the Hellcat. I've been told that the telescope can be replaced with a reflector gunsight, but wouldn't have a clue if that were true or not. Regardless, looking forward to it.
